It flows well and quickly switching between SAS powers feels great and gives it a nice tactical element. I initially thought the combat was a bit simplistic but I beelined all of the moveset unlocks on the brainmap and it improved quickly. Great art style and visuals, excellent music, charming characters, and in particular the worldbuilding is better than I've come to expect from, say, Tales (which has great characters and combat but usually meh stories and worlds). However this game seems a cut above their usual stuff. Bamco typically makes very competent 7.5/10 action JRPGs - I enjoy them but don't usually find them outstanding.
